Iowa State University has a long history of enhancing the transfer of its faculty and staff’s innovative ideas and creative works from conception to the marketplace. Although this process, commonly called technology transfer, has many inherently complex issues, OIPTT and ISURF are very successful in this endeavor, as measured by benchmarks with other institutions.
